If you are:
A national from MERCOSUR member and associate states (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana and Suriname)
Or a relative of Uruguayans (parents, siblings, spouses and legally recognized cohabitants)
Then you can can apply for permanent residency directly at the National Direction of Migration.
All that is needed is a police record, a vaccination card and a birth certificate.
