When talking about being that jacked and tan, hornt and vril red-blooded male conquistando through Latin America — to be honest, that’s not really me anymore.

I’m living that LatAm Dad Lifestyle™

Bunch of toddlers in tow, mi vieja by my side, dragging my sister along to play nanny for us while we try to figure out where to raise these munchkins. More worried about safety, international private schools, hospitals, and all that jazz — than where I’ll find my next “meal”

I like to think I got the poison out. That my days of abject degeneracy are behind me. Only time will tell, but I dig my life right now and don’t have much desire to go back to the hunt.

That being said…

I do consulting calls on occasion.

On these calls, many a broski wants to know where he should go for dating, mating, nightlife, etc. based on his specific situation.

And even though I’ve been out of the game for a while now, I can still break it down better than most.

Damn near a decade of experience in the trenches down here counts for something. Plus, I’ve got a dozen friends who keep me updated on their shenanigans around Latin America provided I don’t share some of their “secret spots” online.

So when a broski on a consulting call tells me he’s thinking about moving to Medellín because he saw somebody rave about it online, I can tell him whether that’s the right call for his specific situation — or whether he’s about to waste three months in the wrong city for his specific situation and goals.

That's what this guide is. The consulting calls in written form. Finding the best city for each individual broski and exactly what they’re prioritizing.

With that in mind, I’m breaking this down for the red-blooded broski still unsure where to invest his time in LatAm when dating and mating is the priority.

Most articles on this topic are lazy. It’s always the same cities written by guys who spent a long weekend in each and now have a podcast about the experiences. No nuance, no framework, no honest downsides.

That’s not how the game actually works down here.

Where you should go depends on factors most writers skip entirely:

  • Language ability: zero Spanish plays differently than intermediate

  • Budgetary constraints: $1,500/mo broski and $5,000/mo broski shouldn’t pick the same city

  • Adventure vs. optimization: are you chasing stories you’ll remember forever or more focused on lifestyle design + productivity?

  • Why Brazil plays by different rules: Portuguese changes everything

  • One. Singular. Focus: if dating volume is the only thing that matters, some cities pull way ahead

Because here’s the thing:

There is no “perfect city.” Too many variables. One guy might crush it in Buenos Aires, whereas another broski gets treated like a king in Santo Domingo.

Different look, different vibe, different language level, different budget, different mission.

Same region. Completely different outcomes.

The rest of this guide is built around that reality — there's simply too many variables to bang out a listicle. I’m not ranking cities 1 through 15. That’s useless here. I’m sorting them by the variable that actually matters for your trip.

Pick your filter. Find your city. Book your trip.

Best Cities for Red-Blooded Males Who Don’t Speak Much Spanish

Quick disclaimer before we get into it…

You absolutely should learn Spanish if you’re planning to spend some time in Latin America.

Non-negotiable.

And it’s not too difficult these days.

But a lot of times, the red-blooded broski is going to book a flight without being able to mutter more than, “¿Cómo estás?” and figure it out upon arrival. Because testosterone.

Hell, that’s what I did back in the day.

I booked a one-way ticket to PTY in 2014, couldn’t speak a lick, and just made it work.

If you’re in a similar situation in 2026, here’s the cities that make it easy for the broski that doesn’t speak much Spanish:
