Make no mistake about it…

Latin America is NOT nearly as cheap as she used to be.

When I first started traveling down here 12+ years ago, you could find great apartments for $500 USD a month or cheaper in dozens of amazing cities. In the best neighborhoods too! Bogota, Medellin, Lima, Buenos Aires, etc. The list could go on and on.

Nowadays…

You’re truly slumming it to live in Medellin in a $500/month apartment.

Which if we’re being honest, isn’t really the reason we left our home countries, flew half-way across the world, learned a new language, etc.

You don’t move abroad to live worse than you did back home.

You move abroad to live better than you did back home for cheaper. “Geo-arbitrage” and all that jazz.

With that in mind, there’s still a ton of value to be had in Latin America. Where you can still “geo-arbitrage” your way to the good life.

You just gotta know where to look.

Below, I’ll share with you the absolute best place to live for under $1,000 USD per month in Latin America in 2026.

A place where nice apartments with rooftop pools located in the best barrios cost $400-500 USD a month.

Enough of me fluff…

What city are we talking about?!
